Birth Prep : Effective birth positions, hands-on techniques with your partner & comfort measures
3 hours
In person ($350 + $30 for travel outside of Montreal)
What we’ll cover
-
Prepare all 3 levels of the pelvis differently so you can open them according to where the baby is.
Know with clarity what to do when (and why) in each stage of labour to progress smoothly.
Experience the most effective labour positions before birth so you’re ready to intuitively find the position your body needs.
-
Birth partners want to be as helpful as possible but often don't know how to do it. Fortunately, all they need is a little coaching! This session is also designed for your birth partner to help them learn:
Partner Support Techniques: Practice hands-on methods that guide baby’s journey and help you feel confident working together as a team.
What to expect and how to support you physically and emotionally through each stage of labor.
How to be your advocate in the birth room - what are the important questions to ask?
-
Whether or not you’re planning on pain meds, early labor can bring some serious intensity — and that’s where comfort measures (aka pain management) come in. From breathwork and counterpressure to heat, water, massage, and more, we’ll explore simple ways to stay grounded and ease discomfort. You’ll learn what works, when to use it, and how to tap into your body’s own tools as things unfold.

2 hours in person ($250 + $30 for travel outside of Montreal)
Want a smoother birth and recovery? Start with how you move.
This session is for pregnant folks who want to feel good now — and set themselves up for an easier birth and postpartum. Rooted in Body Ready Method® principles, we’ll focus on:
Creating balance and space in the pelvis
Assessing your unique posture, habits, and movement patterns
Tailoring exercices to your body — no one-size-fits-all here
Learning how to move in ways that support baby’s positioning and ease tension.
Being active is great — being aligned, adaptable, and intentional is even better.

Unlimited email and text support for the first 2 weeks after delivery
What we’ll cover
This session is designed before baby arrives to help you and your partner feel more prepared for what comes next. Together, we’ll:
Talk about the emotional shifts of matrescence and the fourth trimester
Build simple tools to stay connected as a team
Go over newborn care basics, baby feeding (breast/chest or bottle), and what’s actually normal
Explore how to set up your support village — including referrals for pelvic floor physios, osteos, chiropractors, postpartum doulas, and more.
This isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about feeling held, resourced, and ready.

Have a question?

As a certified doula and perinatal movement specialist, I bring a unique approach that integrates functional movement, nervous system regulation and hands-on support to help you feel strong, safe, and held through birth and beyond.
-
Hospital classes are a great foundation and usually cover general information about labour and hospital procedures. Private sessions don’t replace them; they complement them by focusing on you. We tailor movement, birth prep, and support to your body, your pregnancy, and your goals, with space for personalized questions and hands-on tools. Many parents do both: hospital classes for the what, private sessions for the how.
-
I offer in-person sessions primarily within Montreal and the surrounding areas. Travel outside this range may be possible on a case-by-case basis and may include an additional travel fee. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area, feel free to reach out and ask.

Most parents find the sweet spot is during the second or early third trimester (around 24–32 weeks). This gives you time to absorb the information, practice the tools, and feel prepared, without it being too early or too close to birth.
That said, it’s never “too late.” Classes can still be helpful even later in pregnancy, especially when they’re tailored to your needs.
-
Yes. Classes include hands-on, practical tools such as comfort measures, partner support techniques, positioning, and movement you can use during pregnancy and labor. The goal is to leave class not just informed, but confident and ready to apply what you’ve learned.
-
You’ll receive clear, practical take-home resources to support what we cover in class. This may include written summaries, movement or practice suggestions, and tools you can revisit with your partner as you prepare for birth. Everything is designed to be easy to use and relevant to real life, not overwhelming.
-
Yes. Classes help you clarify your preferences and understand your options so you can create a flexible, informed birth plan. The focus isn’t on a “perfect” plan, but on helping you feel prepared, confident, and able to adapt as birth unfolds.
