You can start prenatal yoga as early as the first trimester, as long as you’ve had approval from your healthcare provider. Prenatal yoga is safe throughout your pregnancy, with modifications made to suit your changing body. The earlier you start, the more you can benefit from strengthening, stretching, and building awareness of your body to prepare for labor and recovery. However, if you’re further along, it’s never too late to start—prenatal yoga can still provide significant benefits for your comfort and birth preparation!

Just bring yourself and a water bottle! I provide all the yoga props you'll need (mats, blocks, straps, etc.), but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Prenatal yoga is not just "gentle" yoga—it's a dynamic practice specifically designed to prepare your body and mind for labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. While it’s safe and supportive, the focus is on building strength, stamina, and mobility, all tailored to the needs of pregnancy. The practice includes targeted poses that support the pelvic floor, improve posture, and relieve pregnancy-related discomforts, while also teaching breathing techniques to help with labor. Unlike regular yoga, which may not address the specific demands of pregnancy, prenatal yoga is intentional in preparing you for the physical and mental challenges of childbirth and recovery.
